“90s మిడిల్ క్లాస్ బయోపిక్” ఫేమ్ మౌళి తనుజ్, “అంబాజీపేట మ్యారేజి బ్యాండు” మూవీతో గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్న యంగ్ హీరోయిన్ శివానీ నాగరం లీడ్ రోల్స్ లో నటిస్తున్న మూవీ “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్”. ఈ చిత్రాన్ని ఈటీవీ విన్ ఒరిజినల్ ప్రొడక్షన్ బ్యానర్ పై దర్శకుడు సాయి మార్తాండ్ రూపొందించారు. “90s మిడిల్ క్లాస్ బయోపిక్” ఫేమ్ డైరెక్టర్ ఆదిత్య హాసన్ “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్” మూవీకి నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహరించారు. ఈ సినిమాను నిర్మాతలు బన్నీ వాస్, వంశీ నందిపాటి థియేట్రికల్ గా రిలీజ్ చేస్తున్నారు. “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్” సినిమా ఈ నెల 5న గ్రాండ్ థియేట్రికల్ రిలీజ్ కు రాబోతోంది. ఈ రోజు జరిగిన ఇంటర్వ్యూలో మూవీ హైలైట్స్ షేర్ చేసుకున్నారు హీరోయిన్ శివానీ నాగరం.
– మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్ సింజిత్ యెర్రమల్లి నా చిన్నప్పటి స్నేహితుడు. ఆయన ద్వారా “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్” ప్రాజెక్ట్ నా దగ్గరకు వచ్చింది. మంచి స్టోరీ ఉంది, విను అని సింజిత్ చెప్పాడు. డైరెక్టర్ సాయి మార్తాండ్ కథ చెప్పినప్పుడు చాలా ఎగ్జైటింగ్ గా అనిపించింది. ప్రతి క్యారెక్టర్ ను డిజైన్ చేసిన తీరు బాగా నచ్చింది.
– అంబాజీపేట మ్యారేజి బ్యాండు మూవీ తర్వాత కొన్ని ఆఫర్స్ వచ్చాయి. కానీ సెలెక్టివ్ గా వెళ్లాలని వెయిట్ చేశాను. సినిమాను థియేటర్ దాకా వెళ్లి చూడాలంటే అందులో మంచి కంటెంట్ ఉండటం లేదు. అలా కంటెంట్ ఉన్న మూవీ చేయాలనే టైమ్ తీసుకున్నా.
– అంబాజీపేట మ్యారేజి బ్యాండు సినిమాలో లవ్ స్టోరీతో పాటు ఎమోషనల్ కంటెంట్ ఉంటుంది. “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్” లో అలా కాదు. ఇది కంప్లీట్ లైట్ హార్టెడ్ మూవీ. కాలేజ్ డేస్ లో ఉండే ఫన్ తో సాగుతుంది. లవ్ స్టోరీ ఉన్నా, అందులో ఎమోషనల్ ఎలిమెంట్స్ ఉండవు.
– “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్”లో కాత్యాయని అనే క్యారెక్టర్ లో నటించాను. ఈ పాత్ర కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా సిద్ధమవలేదు. కాత్యాయని క్యారెక్టర్ ప్రేక్షకులు తమతో తాము పోల్చుకునేలా ఉంటుంది. అఖిల్, కాత్యాయని స్నేహం, ప్రేమ చూస్తుంటే మీకు మీ కాలేజ్ డేస్ గుర్తొస్తాయి. మేమూ ఇలాగే ఉండేవాళ్లం అనిపిస్తుంది.
– కాత్యాయని క్యారెక్టర్ నా లైఫ్ లో కూడా రిలేటబుల్ గా ఉంది. నేనూ కాలేజ్ లో యావరేజ్ స్టూడెంట్ నే. స్టూడెంట్ లైఫ్ లో మనం చేసిన పనులన్నీ “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్” చూస్తుంటే గుర్తొస్తాయి. ఫస్ట్ నుంచి ఈ మూవీ థియేటర్ కోసం చేసిందే. వంశీ నందిపాటి, బన్నీవాస్ గారు ఎంటర్ అయ్యాక, బిగ్గర్ స్కేల్ రిలీజ్ కు తీసుకెళ్తున్నారు. ఓవర్సీస్ లో కూడా మా మూవీ బాగా రిలీజ్ అవుతోంది.
– మౌళి కంటెంట్ క్రియేటర్ నుంచి యాక్టర్ అయ్యాడు కాబట్టి సోషల్ మీడియాలో రీల్స్ బాగా చేస్తుంటాడు. నేను డైరెక్ట్ గా మూవీస్ లోకి వచ్చాను, నేను వాళ్లలా సోషల్ మీడియాలో దూకుడుగా ఉండలేను. “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్” సినిమా ఎంత ఫన్ గా ఉందో, షూటింగ్ చేసేప్పుడు కూడా అంతే హ్యాపీగా చేశాం. ఎక్కువమంది సేమ్ ఏజ్ గ్రూప్ కాబట్టి అంతా ఫ్రెండ్స్ లా కలిసిపోయాం. రాజీవ్ కనకాల, అనిత చౌదరి, కాంచి, సత్యకృష్ణ..వీళ్లంతా మాతో బాగా కలిసిపోయి, మమ్మల్ని సెట్ లో బాగా ఎంకరేజ్ చేసేవారు. వీళ్లతో కలిసి నటించడం మాకు మంచి ఎక్సిపీరియన్స్ ఇచ్చింది. సత్యకృష్ణ, కాంచి నాకు పేరెంట్స్ గా నటించారు. రాజీవ్ కనకాల గారి క్యారెక్టర్ ఫన్ గా ఉంటుంది. కాంచి గారి క్యారెక్టర్ సీరియస్ గా ఉంటుంది.
– “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్” సినిమాతో నాకు స్కూల్, కాలేజ్ డేస్ గుర్తొచ్చాయి. సమ్మర్ క్యాంప్ కు వెళ్లిన ఫీల్ కలిగింది. నేను చదివింది గర్ల్స్ స్కూల్, గర్ల్స్ కాలేజ్, అప్పుడు అబ్బాయిలతో ఇలా మాట్లాడే అవకాశం లేదు. బన్నీవాస్ గారు, వంశీ నందిపాటి గారు “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్” చిన్న సినిమా అని చూడకుండా, మంచి కంటెంట్ ఉన్న సినిమా అని నమ్మి రిలీజ్ చేస్తున్నారు. ఈటీవి విన్ నుంచి వస్తున్న ఫస్ట్ థియేట్రికల్ మూవీ ఇది కావడం విశేషం.
– “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్”లో మ్యూజిక్ కు మంచి రెస్పాన్స్ వస్తోంది. రాజాగాడికి పాట నా ఫేవరేట్ సాంగ్. ఈ పాటలో నేను, మౌళి కలిసి ఒక హుక్ స్టెప్ చేశాం.
– నా గత చిత్రానికి దీనికి ఏడాది గ్యాప్ వచ్చింది. మంచి ప్రాజెక్ట్ కోసమే వేచి చూశా. ఈ మధ్యలో కొత్త హీరోయిన్స్ చాలా మంది వచ్చి ఉండొచ్చు. అయితే నేను అవన్నీ ప్లాన్ చేసుకోని చూడను. నా దగ్గరకు మంచి అవకాశం వస్తే చేస్తా. థియేటర్, ఓటీటీ అనే తేడాలు చూడాలనుకోవడం లేదు. ఎంత పెద్ద సినిమా అయినా ఓటీటీలోకి రావాల్సిందే. ఓటీటీలో వెబ్ సిరీస్ అవకాశాలు వచ్చినా చేసేందుకు రెడీగా ఉన్నాను.
– నా మొదటి చిత్రంలో బాగా ఏడ్చేశాను. రెండో సినిమా “లిటిల్ హార్ట్స్”లో మంచి ఫన్ ఉన్న నవ్వించే క్యారెక్టర్ దొరికింది. ఒక రొమాంటిక్ కామెడీ ఎంటర్ టైనర్ మూవీ చేయాలని అనుకుంటున్నా. నెక్ట్స్ సుహాస్ తో హే భగవాన్ అనే మూవీలో నటిస్తున్నా. ఇదొక కంప్లీట్ హిలేరియస్ ఎంటర్ టైనర్. ఇప్పటికే గ్లింప్స్ రిలీజ్ చేశాం. షూటింగ్ తుది దశకు చేరుకుంది. ఇవి కాకుండా మరో రెండు చిత్రాలు లైనప్ లో ఉన్నాయి.
“Audiences Will Relate to ‘Little Hearts,’ It Reminds You of Your College Days – Heroine Shivani Nagaram
After impressing the audience with Ambajipeta Marriage Band, young heroine Shivani Nagaram is now playing the lead role in Little Hearts alongside 90s Middle Class Biopic fame Mouli Tanuj. Directed by Sai Marthand under the ETV Win Originals banner, the film is produced by 90s Middle Class Biopic director Aditya Hasan. Bunny Vasu and Vamsi Nandipati are bringing the film to theatres, with a grand release scheduled for September 5. In a recent interview, Shivani shared her experiences and insights about the film.
• On how she came onboard:
“Music director Sinjith Yerramalli is my childhood friend. He brought Little Hearts to me and said, ‘Listen to this, it’s a really good story.’ When director Sai Marthand narrated it, I found it very exciting. I loved how every character was designed.”
• On choosing projects carefully:
“After Ambajipeta Marriage Band, I did get offers, but I wanted to be selective. A film should have strong content for people to come watch it in theatres. That’s why I waited for the right project.”
• Difference between her films:
“Ambajipeta Marriage Band had a love story mixed with emotional depth. But Little Hearts is different, it’s a lighthearted film filled with college fun. Even though there’s a love story, it doesn’t have heavy emotional elements.”
• About her role:
“I play Katyayani in Little Hearts. I didn’t prepare in a special way because the role itself feels very natural and relatable. The friendship and love between Akhil and Katyayani will remind audiences of their own college days.”
• Relating to the character:
“Katyayani’s character is close to my real life. I was also an average student during college. Watching Little Hearts will remind people of their student life experiences. From the beginning, this film was made for theatres. With Bunny Vasu and Vamsi Nandipati coming onboard, it’s now being released on a bigger scale, including overseas.”
• On co-actors and shooting experience:
“Since Mouli started as a content creator, he’s great with social media reels, but I directly entered films, so I’m not as active online. Shooting for Little Hearts was as fun as the film itself because most of us were of the same age and bonded like friends. Senior actors like Rajeev Kanakala, Anita Chowdary, Kanchi, and Satyakrishna encouraged us a lot. Rajeev sir’s role is fun, while Kanchi garu plays a serious character. Satyakrishna and Kanchi played my parents, and working with them was a great experience.”
• Nostalgic moments:
“This movie reminded me of my own school and college days. It felt like a summer camp experience. Since I studied in girls’ schools and colleges, I never had opportunities to interact with boys, so acting in this film gave me that vibe. I’m grateful that Bunny Vasu garu and Vamsi Nandipati garu believed in the content instead of looking at it as just a small film. This is also the first theatrical release coming from ETV Win, which makes it special.”
• On music:
“The songs in Little Hearts are getting a good response. My favorite is the Rajagaadi song. Mouli and I performed a hook step in it.”
• On career choices:
“There’s been a one-year gap between this film and my previous one because I was waiting for the right project. New heroines may have entered the industry during this time, but I don’t compare myself. I just focus on doing good films when opportunities come. I don’t differentiate between theatre and OTT. Eventually, every big film ends up on OTT, and I’m also open to web series if good opportunities come.”
• On growth as an actress:
“In my first film, I had many emotional crying scenes. But in Little Hearts, I got to play a fun, entertaining character. I’d love to do more romantic comedy entertainers. Up next, I’m working with Suhas in Hey Bhagavan, a complete hilarious entertainer. The glimpse is already out and the shoot is nearing completion. Apart from that, I have two more films lined up.”
